Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 the 26th of May, 1978. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are among her best-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She is currently an analyst in charge of the Assassination Witness project and part of the G-TOC's collaboration team that is multilateral. The GI-TOC's research activities focus on assassinations, disappearances and other types of violence that occur in the framework of illicit markets. She is also interested in the consequences of organized crime as well as human rights in the context of humanitarian policies as well as law. Ana Paula holds an LL.M the cum laude of International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She holds acquired an LL.M. qualification on Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is an experienced lawyer and has worked in a law firm focused on civil litigation in public law for nearly four years. Additionally, she has held a variety of assisting positions at two non-governmental organizations, Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
