Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell is an American actress from America. Born on 27 March 1970, she's 5'9 inches tall. She is best known as the role of Dr. Juliet Burke in ABC's Lost television show as well as FBI agent Erica Evans in V. Gia and The Escape Clause. Mitchell stars in Eric Kripke television series Revolution which airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell is her stepfather and Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins) and her mother are both Dallas-based lawyers. Mitchell along with her mother and their two children moved from New York in Dallas Texas where Mitchell's mother got married in 1975. Mitchell attended Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts an all-public magnet high school. Mitchell is the older sister among the three, with Kristina Kristie Mitchell & Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. She graduated in 1991 at Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and also studying in the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for a period of six years at Dallas Theater Center and a year in the Encore Theater.
